The uniform of a first believer.
On every stage that mattered, for at least twenty years, Jensen Huang wore the same thing: a black leather jacket. He says his wife Lori and daughter Madison pick them out. They are usually Tom Ford, and some run over $10,000. In July 2026 one he signed sold at Sotheby's for $960,000, about sixteen times its estimate.

A Denny's booth
Jensen, Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem started NVIDIA with about $40K. Jensen had bussed tables at that same Denny's as a teenager. His line about the place: all the coffee you could drink and nobody could kick you out.

The GeForce 256 shipped as “the world's first GPU.” It pulled graphics off the CPU and set up the parallel computing that AI runs on today.

CUDA
NVIDIA let developers run ordinary computing on the GPU, not just graphics. That is the quiet moment gaming chips turned into AI engines.

The tattoo
The stock cleared $100 before the split. Jensen got the NVIDIA logo tattooed on his shoulder to mark it. By his own account he cried like a baby.
